Around Here: Celebratin' Edition

Last week we celebrated this stud becoming ABD (all but dissertation). He received multiple awards and participated in graduation (since he will miss his 'official' one while were in Korea). Both our families came down to help celebrate. Then we went up to my hometown to celebrate mothers day and both our mom's birthdays are on mothers day....umm talk about motherly overload! We had a surprise picnic for the moms in my family at a local garden that is just beautiful and holds tons of memories from my life growing up. It was a whirlwind of a few days but a fantastic reminder of how lucky we've been to be so close to our families these past few years to be able to share these celebrations with! Here's to celebratin'!   Maybe my favorite thing about my family is our genetically cute feet and affinity for cute shoes (that all happen to be the same size)!!
