Get Messy 27: the true travelers art journal

This week I have realized I am a true travelling art journaler + the less I have the more I have. When I left for my trip I packed my art journal, my watercolor set, a paintbrush, a roll of purple washi tape and no plan. I am currently working through the Studio Calico Paint Plan Play class and this weeks challenge was to create color blocks. So I did + some mark making (from week 1). Then I looked around and there was a Malaysian magazine in my hotel room, so I ripped some pages out of it the way you did in third grade when you bent the pages until it ripped in straight-ish line.I love these pages. The view from my balcony (where I painted these), but I wish I would have finished them during the day so you can see the view that inspired this page! But don't worry I'll share a million photos when I get home!  What are the 2 supplies you would take if you could only pick 2 to art journal with while you travel?!  Get Messy is an art journal challenge where a gang of crafty vixens are sharing art journal pages we have created to practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire.
