Travel Like An Artist Ecourse is LIVE!

travel-like-an-artist-840What is inspiration? How do you find it? How do you use it? What is the difference between copying and being truly inspired? In my new ecourse, Travel Like An Artist, I will answer all of these questions and develop a set of skills that any type of creative is able to use to create unique art from inspiration they find in the world around them. The course is hosted in a private classroom and is packed full of tips, activities, projects, photos, videos and ideas for you. I began to study inspiration years ago when I was a new maker trying to find the line between 'inspired by' and just plain copying. I have found a method and process to discovering and identifying inspiration from the world, not from other people's art, that helps me develop my artwork. In this course I am laying out my process, from start to finish, from what I look for as inspiration to a completed piece of art.detail-2Travel is so special and enlightening and tends to inspire us much more than our daily lives, but it can also be overwhelming. Travel is one of my greatest loves and one of my greatest sources of inspiration and I want to help you make the most of your travels also. In the course we will create a travel journal that will be the receptacle of all the inspiration there is to soak up when exploring new places. Creating a journal helps you stay organized, focused and saves precious time and energy when you know exactly what to record and where to put it. I will walk you through one of my completed journals and how I set it up to ensure maximum inspiration collection. If you would like to learn how to capture and translate inspiration and how to build the journal for this, join me for Travel Like An Artist today. You can also listen to me share all about this lovely topic on the How She Creates podcast (plus theres a coupon code!)

Got questions? I've got answers.

Q: Will I need to take a ton of travel art supplies with me on my trip?

A: Absolutely not. I believe less is better. We will pack our travel kit together and even test it out to make sure it isn’t too large.

Q: Is this course only for travellers?

A: Nope. Though travel is one of the best forms of inspiration hunting, the course begins with finding inspiration in the room you are currently sitting in, moves to your neighbourhood, then your city and then finally to the whole wide world.

Q: Should I wait and buy the course the day before my next trip?

A: Probably not. As I said in the above question, inspiration hunting is a skill or muscle you must train and build so waiting until the day before your trip will not give you time to practice your inspiration hunting or to create your journal.

Q: Do I need a big, fancy camera?

A: No! Your phone camera is the best one for gathering inspiration quickly and easily.
