My husband and I like to go on walks each night and discuss our day. Recently we had an in depth discussion on the importance of progress, in our respective creative work, over final product. This was a conversation I knew I needed to bring to the podcast. This week my wise and talented husband is talking about his experience with playing the piano, his doctoral research into practice habits, and he is sharing some very helpful tips for making the most use of your creative work time. We talk all about how creating a routine can help your work be more effective, how to stay motivated when in the sludge of the long work hours it takes to accomplish a big, big goal and he debunks a popular creative myth. Plus I've added a new segmented called I'm Loving where I'll celebrate female artists and small businesses. Listen in to this fun and incredibly inspiring conversation today. Add your voice to the conversation using the tag #howshecreates and by following me on instagram @laurenlikesblog.
