How She Creates 606: Draw Yourself Calm with Amy Maricle

Draw Yourself Calm with Amy Maricle

Our longest-running guest is back for another encouraging episode. This week Amy Maricle is reminding us to slow down, take a deep breath, and spend time making our art. We chat about her new book, Draw Yourself Calm, her advice for when we can’t quite slow down enough to focus, and about the upcoming Radiant Art Retreat where she will be taking us through her Drawing Closer To Nature retreat.

Amy Maricle is an artist, art therapist, and author who teaches people the art of slowing down to create mindful, meaningful art. She is the author of the book, Draw Yourself Calm, and her writing and art have been featured in the New York Times, The Washington Post, and Psych Central. She blogs and teaches classes online at mindfulartstudio.com. Amy lives in Mansfield, MA, with her husband, son, and two mischievous dogs.
